I absolutely love El Portrillo! My favorite restaurant in Savannah. Best service in town & friendliest staff. The skinny margaritas are better than any margarita I have tried all over America & in Mexico.
Best food in Savannah for Mexican. If you want a place where the people actually check on you, this is it. Go on Friday, margaritas are 5.00. Mom is there and she is super sweet, plus the rest of the staff is amazing. Enjoy.
They have the best flautas I've ever had. It's been a few years since we've been there, since we no longer live in Tennessee, but it was a must stop.
This is the best Mexican food we've tried since moving here. The service at first was a bit lacking, however they were busy and only 1 girl was working at first, a waiter was just coming on shift so once that settled down and they got caught up.....it was fantastic , awesome food, it's better than our beloved place back in Ohio. Even though it was a bit slow to begin, it was worth the 20 or so minutes we waited. We will definitely be back again and again !
